How to Wash Your Hands
Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, people are realizing the importance of washing their hands. Here are some tips to make sure your hands get as clean as possible.
- Wet your hands with clean running water. Turn off the tap.
- Apply soap to your hands and lather them vigorously by rubbing your hands together with the soap.
- Be sure your entire hands are covered in soap suds - including your wrists, under your fingernails, and between your fingers.
- Scrub your hands for at least 20 seconds.
- Turn on the tap and rinse your hands well under clean running water to remove the soap, germs, and dirt.
- Be sure you dry your hands thoroughly with a clean towel, or let a hand dryer blow them dry. Wiping them on your clothes gets them dirty again, and touching things with wet hands spreads germs more easily.
Stay clean and healthy!
